I am a principal research scientist at CSIRO’s Data61 where I am the Science Lead for Foundational Machine Learning across the Analytics and Decision Sciences research program. I also hold an Honorary Associate Professor position at the Australian National University. Most of my work revolves around uncertainty quantification, probabilistic modelling and efficient probabilistic inference, usually adopting a Bayesian perspective. I have worked in applications such as geophysical inversions, spatio-temporal modelling, computer vision and document analysis.
